just a quick run. I come back to the parking lot and see a shopping cart slammed straight into the driver’s side door. The dent was bad, like instantly I knew this was gonna be expensive.
I just stood there thinking this is easily a $7,000 problem and I’m the one bringing the car back like this. No note, no one around, just damage left for someone else to deal with.
So I went inside and checked the security cameras. Found exactly who did it. No hesitation, just walked over to their car, grabbed three shopping carts, and threw them right on top. Smashed their windshield and left it how they left mine.
I go home thinking at least I handled it, and she completely flips on me. Doesn’t even focus on what happened to her car, just mad at what I did after.
She ended up breaking up with me over it. Acting like I’m the problem when I wasn’t even the one who caused it in the first place.
